Common questions about flooring installation in Calgary. If you don't see your question here, contact us—we're happy to help.

How much does tile installation cost in Calgary?

Tile installation costs in Calgary vary based on the type of tile, square footage, subfloor preparation, and complexity of the layout. We provide free quotes for all projects. Contact us with your project details for an accurate estimate.

What is LVP flooring?

LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) is a rigid-core vinyl flooring that mimics the look of hardwood. It's 100% waterproof, durable, and ideal for basements, kitchens, and bathrooms. LVP is one of the most popular flooring choices for Calgary homeowners.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

A typical bathroom floor renovation in Calgary takes 1-3 days depending on the scope. This includes removing old flooring, subfloor preparation if needed, and installing new tile, LVP, or other finishes. We work efficiently to minimize disruption.

Do you install flooring in Calgary basements?

Yes. We install LVP, carpet, and tile in Calgary basements. LVP is especially popular for basements due to its water resistance and ability to handle humidity. We ensure proper subfloor preparation for a long-lasting installation.

Do you install sheet vinyl?

No. We no longer install sheet vinyl. For resilient flooring we focus on luxury vinyl plank (LVP), which is durable, waterproof, and very popular with Calgary homeowners.

Do you install carpet?

Yes. We install residential broadloom and carpet tile, as well as commercial carpet solutions. Contact us for a quote on bedrooms, basements, stairs, or office projects.

What's the difference between ceramic and porcelain tile?

Porcelain tile is denser and more water-resistant than ceramic, making it better for wet areas and high-traffic spaces. Ceramic is a good choice for walls and lower-traffic areas. Both are durable and come in many styles. We can help you choose the right option for your Calgary project.

Can you install hardwood over radiant heat?

Yes. Engineered hardwood is suitable for installation over radiant heat systems. Solid hardwood can be more sensitive to temperature changes. We'll recommend the right product and installation method for your Calgary home.

Do you work with Calgary builders?

Yes. We've worked with Calgary builders and homeowners on new construction projects for over 21 years. We coordinate with your build schedule and deliver quality installations on time.

"Brayco Tile really went over and above for me! We had an issue with some tile that was laid 6 years ago and not only did they come to have a look, they quickly set up a time to come back to fix the issue. There was no hassle at all and Cory, the owner, personally explained everything to us. He was polite and courteous and sent over a really nice young man, Brendan, who carefully replaced some tile and some grout. Brendan also explained exactly what he was doing and was careful to protect the area and did a very thorough clean-up after the fact. We did not expect this to necessarily be a warranty job but they never once mentioned a charge, instead they just went ahead and fixed the issue. I also need to mention that Homes by Avi was our builder and they also were involved and immediately jumped to take care of us. I will give Homes by Avi a separate review. I would not hesitate to use Cory at Brayco Tile and want to personally say a big Thank You! to both Cory and Brendan. Thanks guys!! Paul Beattie"
